These products have undergone rigid testings based on ASTM standards and are recognized by independent 3rdparty rating systems and programs (Energy Star, LEED, UL, Factory Mutual, etc). Redgard boasts of fluid-applied, fully adhered, monolithic, seamless, permanently flexible roofing membranes that include Acrylic-Elastomeric Ceramic Coatings, Silicone-Elastomeric Coatings and Urethane Polyurea Coatings.

Cost effective solutions to waterproofing problems
The biggest disadvantage to installing a flat roof or concrete roof deck is the drainage, or lack thereof. Concrete roof deck do drain, but not nearly as efficiently as a roof with any kind of pitch. Therefore water has a tendency to puddle and remain on the roof, which could lead to the roofing material breaking down or to eventual leaks, particularly along the seams.
Cracks on concrete roof deck is also another issue inherent to concrete material. Although not all cracks are dangerous and do not pose a serious structural threat, it may, however, be source of water leaks.
